Kodac’s Last Thursday of Poetry and Song will take place at Wild Heaven in Avondale on October 31st. Our special musical guests will be Van Markiton & Kristin Markiton. Other poets and musicians will perform. We will have a costume contest and all will take place between 6:30 and 9 pm. No cover.

Kodac’s latest Thursday of Poetry and Song on September 26th will feature Ted Pettus and band along with other musicians and poets at Wild Heaven in Avondale from 6:30 to 9. No cover.

For the Last Thursday of Poetry and Song at Wild Heaven in Avondale on June 27th, we will try to finish around 8:30 so everyone can get home to watch the debate if they are so inclined. If it rains we will move inside. Our special musical guest is Berne Poliakoff, but other poets and musicians will perform. 6 to 8:30 evening. No cover.

This month’s Last Thursday of Poetry and Song at Wild Heaven in Avondale will take place after the Memorial Day weekend on May 30th. This version will feature more poetry and less music with Rupert Fike at the top of the list. Other poets and musicians will perform including Dennis Coburn Nate Mask and me. The event will take place between 6 and 9. Food, beer, wine and sodas will be available. No cover.

Start off your new year with Community Sessions. A songwriter in the round the round event featuring Kodac Harrison, Heather Lutrell and Van Markiton. Your opportunity to see some great Atlanta songwriters in an intimate setting.

Our featured musician will be Marvin Jackson, who will perform on his birthday, which we will celebrate with him. Other poets and musicians will also perform including yours truly.

Once again Kodac’s Last Thursday of Poetry and Song will be held at Wild Heaven in Avondale on May 25th from 6 to 9. This month’s featured musician will be Craig Rafuse with Bill Fleming and the Expand Band. Other musicians and poets will perform also. Food and beer will be available.

Kodac will be performing in support of Charles McNair’s release of his new novel, The Epicureans, at Wild Heaven in Avondale on December 21st from 6pm to 10pm.

The 27th will be the last of the Last Thursday shows at Wild Heaven in Avondale for this year. I want to reward some of those who have been so important this season. As a result I’m going to give more time to Rupert Fike, Marvin Jackson, and Silvia Medrano-Edelstein, instead of one featured guest. Phillip Raines who has been a major participant in the event will join me and Marvin. I will probably ask Marc LaFountain to read an extra poem. The performances will take place between 6p and 9p with no cover.
